American Tire Distributors Opens First Distribution Center in Ohio

ATD also announces plans to open a facility in Indianapolis

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (June 28, 2010) American Tire Distributors, Inc. (ATD), one of the nation’s largest independent suppliers of tires, wheels, equipment and related supplies to the replacement tire market, opened a new distribution center today in Cincinnati, Ohio. The 85,158 square foot, state-of-the-art distribution center is located at 4520 LeSaint Court in Fairfield, Ohio. This is the first ATD distribution center located in the state of Ohio.

"Our new ATD distribution center is a bricks-and-mortar example of our commitment to tire retailers in the southern Ohio market," said William "Bill" Berry, President and Chief Executive Officer of ATD. "This new distribution center will provide dealers in and around Cincinnati with a broad array of products and brands coupled with the high level of service we strive to provide our customers," Berry said.

In addition, ATD today announced plans to open their first distribution center in the state of Indiana. This new facility will service the Indianapolis market and will open later this summer.
